(I would need phone numbers too.) Very Interested as I believe that I have one on my system. The SUSPECTED program is KEYBUFF.COM. It was posted some time back on the c.b.p.c board. It says to put it in the autoexec.bat file because it must be run early to claim the memory that it needs. (paraphrased) I did not do this because when I ran it, (Didn't read the documentation 'till my friend called with the bug) I froze my computer. I did not delete it but never touched it after. (I just felt that it wasn't compatible with MY cptr or all the TSR's I have.) After my friend called, we narrowed down all the programs that I gave him that I did not use myself. BTW; It (whatever the problem/virus was) destroyed the FAT area(s). Also, my friend believes that it was responcible for converting some executable files into printable ASCII characters.
