I seem to remember some articles (a long time ago) talking about how to set
the length of a file by performing a seek and then closing the file (or
something like that). If anyone knows the details, could you please email
me and let me know. I think I might be getting bit by this (i.e. I don't want
it to happen!). Also, does this process work in all versions of DOS etc.
