Chemistry Dept. Lines: 26 Hello everybody. Does anyone out there have an online copy of the data sheet for the DMA controller used in the IBM PC ? I think this is an Intel 8237 (the number may be wrong here but the idea is the same). We did have a real paper copy here but have lost track of it. The information I need is the method of telling the controller the memory address at which to start a DMA operation. I think the registers for this are at I/O ports 0x00 to 0xFF, but I'm not certain and don't know which of these are used. Thanks, Murff....
