All the Mac II's do that if there is a hardware problem.  If you want
to hear the melody, take  out one SIMM, then reboot the machine.  The
self-test on boot-up detects a memory error, and the funny melody will
be played.

DISCLAIMER:  Don't blame me if you fry your machine.
