Message-ID: <128@all41.csc.ti.com> Date: 6 Apr 89 16:52:48 GMT Organization: Computer Science Center, Texas Instruments Lines: 22 I have many Mac II users that need a sophisticated dialing system that does all the following: 1) Lift the switchook automatically (as does a modem). 2) Not interfere with using VersaTerm through the modem port for an RS232 interface with a VAX. 3) Usable within HyperCard (if at all possible). 4) Not interfere with the normal speaker operation. The two dialers that use the speaker output (HyperDialer and HyperCable) fills requirements 2 & 3 but not 1 & 4; using a modem fills requirements 1, 3 & 4 but not 2 (HyperCard modem dialing somehow changes the modem port to 2400 baud, which requires an adjustment in VersaTerm before normal use is restored). Is there such a product? Thanks, John Dennis E-mail: dennis@hcvdl.vdl.ti.com
