When I did so it rescanned and tried to write again, noticed that the tape was full and failed when trying to update the smartset info. I've never seen this happen when I backed up to disk, is this normal? Having only 1 tape I didn't pursue this any further. Which brings me to another question -- I've been patiently waiting for my DiskFit 1.5 upgrade announcement, was every registered owner supposed to get one? Does anyone know if 1.5 will ignore MultiDisk partitions just like the HDpartitions were ignored? Another nit is that when I tried to format my tape using DataForm it got to the initialization portion and seemingly hung -- no light no movement just the initializing message. Any mouse click spun it for a second and then quit -- I finally ejected, quit, and restarted and then just initialized the tape since it had already finished the format. If it makes a difference it was a preformatted tape. And lastly where do people purchace their DC2000 tapes and what kind of prices do you pay -- they seem to be $20-$25 locally. Oh this is on an 2meg, 512ke upgraded w/scsi port, cms 60meg external, running release 5 (finder 6.0 system 4.2 ??). steven yee -- Steven D.
