Keywords: IIcx, Telnet Message-ID: <4338@wilbur.unix.ETA.COM> Date: 14 Apr 89 05:57:22 GMT Distribution: na Organization: The Final Frontier Lines: 24 I'm having trouble getting NCSA Telnet to work on my new Mac IIcx. I am running a Radius 2 page display, System 6.03, Ethertalk 1.1, am using an Apple Ethernet card, and have NCSA Telnet 2.2. I have tried running this under Finder and Multifinder with similar results. When I start up Telnet, it displays the LOGO screen, asks for my IP address, then promptly hangs my system after I click the OK button. This version of Telnet apparently works on a Mac IIx, and I know it works on other Mac IIs we have here, but it sure doesn't fly on my IIcx (sniff). Anybody have NCSA Telnet running on a IIcx? If so, PLEASE PLEASE contact me with any answers as to how you did it. Any alternate public domain, or even commercial product suggestions are also very welcome. I need to run Telnet and hopefully FTP with an Ethernet card. -- ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Extra zesty disclaimer: MINE! MINE! ALL MINE! Robert K.
