Applelink is finally coming here to Europe, but I am finding that the
software interface to it is so smart that nobody knows how the hardware
works below! Maybe someone on the net has an answer to these questions:
What hardware is needed to connect to Applelink? A Hayes-compatible modem?
What baud rate? How about alternatives like a direct connection to a Public
Data Network? I suppose Applelink uses this kind of medium anyway, since
phone lines would be far too expensive. Or am I wrong?
I understand that the software has some kind of scripting langage. How easy
is it to change the automatic login script?
