Keywords: trash, icon, finder Organization: Department of Computer Science, University of Toronto References: <1203@internal.Apple.COM> <2756@pegasus.ATT.COM> <6607@bsu-cs.bsu.edu> Distribution: comp.sys.mac.programmer Date: Fri, 7 Apr 89 12:23:19 EDT While we're on the subject of Finder icon locations, isn't it rather inconsistent that the FInder doesn't remember where I want the trash can the sit from one invocation to another? In particular, under MF, I want the trash can way down at the very edge of the screen. In addition, I would like Finder to remember if it was open or closed. At the very least, the finder should keep the trash location in a resource. In the meantime, somebody must have a patch for the Finder to put the trash can down at the edge of the screen. Could you share it?
