I just bought a Shugart 612 disk drive at an auction.  I was told that it
is a 30 M drive but I am questioning that because I am only able to 
format it at 10M.  I tried:

  - 612 cylinders but only 306 were formatted.
  _ various numbers of heads with only 4 seeming to work properly.

I am using the drive on an XT with a Western Digital Controller.

Please let me know if you have any information on this drive.
