It is a version of a mail message I sent him. Our machine was off the network due to some hardware problems, sorry about that. I wrote someone else about graph+ (I think I should call it graph+vplot) I rewrote graph+ to use a publically available plotting system called vplot (Not legally PD, but available as a free ftp'able distribution for most of us) And using the additional features of vplot over plot(5), I added simple features like control over font sizes and stroke width. Other than that it is the same graph+ written by Alan Kent from Melbourne, Australia! He should be credited as the author of graph+. I'll try to free up time to package graph+vplot suitably for a public release. Probably as a package without vplot, since vplot can be had off the net (and it is a large package by itself) I think what I will do is re-write the plotting code into a interface code file, allowing others to re-write graph+ for other, perhaps local, plotting packages (DI-3000, superplot...) ari Aritomo Shinozaki ari@kolmogorov.physics.uiuc.edu Loomis Laboratory of Physics (217)-244-1744 University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign Urbana IL, 61801
