Is there any reason why Sun distribute the sources for most of their
SunView programs (in /var/share/src/sun/suntool) but only include object
files for mailtool?

There are a few minor alterations that I would like to make to mailtool to
make it easier for me to use. The only sunview based mailtool program I've
found is mush, but I found this unsatisfactory in other areas.

I find this really frustrating - is there any reason behind it?
