I know that the two modems are happy and that the phone lines are of good quality because if I interrupt a call ( using +++ ) to examine the registers S70 and S72, they show rates of 16000-17000 bps. I do the setup and dialing for the modem in the chat script like this : uunet Any cua0 19200 cua0 "" ATZ\r OK atx3v1e0q0s7=60s50=255dtXXXXXXXXXXX\r FAST "" ogin: XXXXX assword: XXXXX When uucp is receiving a file, The RCV light on the front panel of the modem shows only brief pulses - I'd guess no more than 20% of the time on, 80% off. Also ... Can you tell me if it is possible or desireable to enable "g" protocol in the Trailblazer with the uucp in SunOS4.0 ? UUCP appears to hang when it's enabled. If not, then will it be possible under 4.1 ( Honey DanBer uucp ?? ).
