After upgrading to 4.0.1 it no longer seems to read or write. I can rewind, retension, and even do a status using the "mt" command. But when I try "mt -f /dev/nrst8 fsf 3" or any other command that involves a read or write I get an I/O error. Tar and dump with various parameters stopped working altogether. The error is "media error" (sense key 3). Is their anyway to install the 3.5 driver for the st tape drive? Does anybody know of any solutions to this problem?
