We use a couple of Annices with just about everything we have (Sun-3s under 3.5.1, Sun-4s under 4.0.1, Pyramids under 4.0 or 4.4, an Encore Multimax under UMAX or Mach, a Butterfly under Mach, a DEC-20, IBM RTs under Mach, a 3B2 under SVr3.0, etc.) and they work just great. They are in regular use by herds and herds of users, and occasionally as a UUCP dialin path to machines without serial interfaces of their own. We like it a lot better than the computer center's Bridge CS/1.
