Tandy is now in the process of changing to the now-industry-standard. Until then, the typical Tandy-cable is slightly different than the standard cable. Tandy should be selling an IBM-PC-style cable now or very soon. I suspect that that is what you need. P.S. I think it has something to do with the INIT line.
