Message-ID: <1212@rpi.edu> Date: 10 Apr 89 14:56:55 GMT Sender: usenet@rpi.edu Distribution: usa Organization: Eaters of Wisdom Lines: 11 When I do anonymous FTP, I give my username as 'ftp' or 'anonymous', and then get asked for a real identification instead of a password. Is there a typical place where these idents are saved? Can I change this place without access to the ftp(1) source? Email, please, and I will summarize. In some sense, a stochastic process can do better; at least it has a chance. Mark-Jason Dominus entropy@pawl.rpi.EDU entropy@rpitsmts (BITnet)
