Product description claims: "FORTRIX-C+ translates FORTRAN code to C code. It achieves this in such a way that input data files remain fully compatible with the new C program. It translates all of the FORTRAN comment lines in place so that internal documentation is fully retained. The generated C code is structured and easily readable, therefore very easily maintained and updated. The resulting C program will typically run 15-30% faster than the original FORTRAN."
