I assume this will do the bootp protocol but I can't find it in any Ultrix manual. A strings(1) on bootpd shows that is wants a file called /etc/bootptab but I have no idea what the format of this file should be. There is also a line for bootp in /etc/inetd.conf that is commented out in the distribution. I would like to run bootp so a PC on my network running NCSA telnet can find its IP address. Does anyone have any idea how to set up the /etc/bootptab file? Steve
