Originally they charged $25K for source, but may have adjusted their policy with regards to X-Windows popularity. Silicon Graphics uses NeWS as its standard window system. A company, I beileve called Grasshopper, sells a Mac version. The strong similarity of Display Postscript to NeWS has slowed down NeWS ports too.
