I'm working on a kind of session manager for X and it needs the ICCCM
specified WM_STATE property and various client application state
changing protocols, like iconic to normal to withdrawn, that bunch.
I'll modify TWM to support this as a test case in the meantime.

Please, Smokey says, only YOU can enable interesting window layout
managers through your support of the WM_STATE protocol.
