Message-ID: <3190002@hpldsla.HP.COM> Date: 4 Apr 89 21:00:06 GMT Lines: 17 Is there any 386 PC X11 windows implementation for Xenix/DOS besides what SCO is planning in their new release? If so, are these implementations efficient enough to handle applications like file servers, network/ipc servers along with X11? In general, it would be interesting and beneficial to know the approx. percentage of a 80386 CPU processing power which is being consumed by an X11 server. That could help identify some of the bottlenecks on a shared resource network of file servers, X11 servers and participating CPUs running user applications on UNIX/XENIX/DOS boxes. Manoj Joshi.
