Without understanding *exactly* what your application is doing, or without some other shreds of evidence, there's basically nothing I can do to help you. If the server is crashing, how about at *least* giving us a stack trace? [Note: if you don't have all public fixes, get them. One of them fixes Sun server crashes, but there's no way of knowing if this is what you're hitting.]
