Anyway, I was wondering if anyone has managed to get the sendmail stuff working on VMS - what do I have to change, and where? I can (and have) set things up so that the VMS MAIL program will use emacs on a SEND/EDIT, but so far, I haven't been able to use mail directly from emacs. Bear in mind that I'm not overly familiar with the inner workings of emacs, so be specific. I (and the rest of the world, probably) prefer mailed responses, but I do check this group now and again so post if you feel the need. Thanks, John Hardie P.S. Does anyone know where (assuming one exists) I can get a manual and/or INFO documentation for emacs lisp? Specifically, the lisp callable emacs specific stuff. I've already got Steele so the lisp syntax etc isn't what I'm looking for. -- =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-= John G.
