I am getting the following message (from M-x compile in gnu Emacs): cd /user/ece2/jensen/thesis/src/ make -k best gcc -o best best.c -lm gcc: Program cc1 got fatal signal 6. *** Error code 1 make: Warning: Target `best' not remade because of error Compilation finished at Tue Apr 4 00:32:25 Can anyone tell me how to find out what is causing this, or how I can fix it? The code was originally written in TurboC version 2.0. I looked in info in gnuemacs and man gcc, but all i figured out what that cc1 is run after cpp, and before as and ld... any suggestions would be appreciated. thanks, Jim jensen@sun.soe.clarkson.edu (internet) jensenje@clutx (bitnet) (315) 268-6591
