    I guess I'll say it "aloud", instead of in many individual letters
  to many individual people:

    I would recommend that people *not* compile gdb with gcc.  If you
  do, please see the notes about doing so in the Makefile.

    This is not due to a bug in gcc, simply due to the large number of
  sites at which the fixincludes script has not been properley run or
  has missed something.  Again, see the notes in the Makefile.
