I tried to post an article to multiple newsgroups.  It is logged properly, but
no entries appear in the news directories and no batch entry is made for
transmittal up the line. 
If a moderated newsgroup is in the list, only mail to the first moderator is
done.

Is this the expected behavior?

first moderator is done (after the posting in the directories).  Any
