My driver's Ed. instructor told us that warning oncoming cars of a speedtrap is, indeed, an obstruction of justice. She went on to give a "what if" situation involving a relative of yours also on the road who gets hit by the speeding maniac (not caught by police) because he slowed down at the speed-trap.
