I seem to recall seeing a new product notice describing a single-chip
modem capable of 9600 baud.  Rockwell, perhaps?  Anyhow, if you know of
such a chip I'd like to hear from you.  My application is suited to
half-duplex operation, so full-duplex capability is not required.
