From what I heard the boat surfaced and some men got off, and waited for help (Kirov class cruiser + others). A Norwegian Orion took pictures of the incident. Where does a Mike fit in the USSR inventory? I would assume that it is newer than a November, maybe near an Alfa. Also, what was the class of the Soviet sub we were diving to study/etc in the mid-late 70's.
