SOFTWARE SYSTEM AT LANCASTER.PD-SOFTWARE.
IT IS A BOO ENCODED ARC FILE WHICH MAY BE UNPACKED USING TOOLS AVAILABLE
ON THE SAME LIBRARY SYSTEM.  THE FILE IS IN THE DIRECTORY
'MICROS/IBMPC/G49' AND IS CALLED:
g49ezfit.boo       A BOO-encoded ARC file

Description

Ez-fit is a program which may be used to fit ENZYME KINETIC DATA.  It fits
experimental data to a user-selected model, chosen from a wide array of kinetic
models and presents the fitted data in both tabular and graphic forms (CGA type
graphics appear on an EGA monitor) The program is binary executable (compiled
Quick Basic) and needs at least 384 Kbytes of RAM and a CGA Graphics adaptor.
The program and description have been published:

 WITH CONSIDERABLE DIFFICULTY, AFTER TRYING TO USE THE FTP SYSTEM, WE HAD
 JOE SMITH AT U. PENN. SEND IT AS A UU-ENCODED FILE, SPLIT INTO 5 PARTS,
 USING THE MAIL NETWORK.     I HAVE DECODED, UNPACKED THE FILE, AND RE-
 PACKAGED IT USING PKPAK. IT NOW WORKS. IT WOULD BE MUCH EASIER MAKING IT
 AVAILABLE HERE AND I HAVE ASKED THEIR PERMISSION TO DO SO.

Notes

To obtain the programs, download the BOO-encoded file or files, and use the
DeBOO utility to turn each one into a .ARC file.  You can then use the PKUNPAK
utility to unpack the individual files.
