In lieu of a editors.d group, complaints must of necessity be posted
here. If a certain amount of useful information is a prerequisite to
posting, I can provide the code to "ked," a clone of ex that works on
keyed logical records. Paired with "kawk", a C-interpreter (also
written by me), it makes a file-management system especially suited to
multi-lingual bibliographies.  Since there are several megs of code
involved, I should be able to justify a few lines of pissing and moaning.

Why not?  Silent withdrawl is hardly an effective protest in a medium
