After several more hours of debugging I found the following two bugs which fixed the problem: - I had the 2 indicies (sp?) of refraction backwards. - I had forgotten to take into account percision errors in my sphere intersect routine. The interesting thing is that percision errors didn't seem to effect the illumination model or the reflections. Anyway, it all works fine now. I do have another question. What is the best and/or easiest method for modelling hallow transparent spheres? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
