[Not that I'm a stick in the mud but...]

Recently comp.graphics has been deluged with many messages under a
few small categories.  A medium while back it was brought up that
there should be a "Monthly Posting", recently I've began to believe
that this would be a wonderful idea.

What I think such a "Reminder" should contain is:
	Pointers to useful FTP sites
	Pointers to useful References (Foley & Van Dams, Roger's)
	A note on the different "Image Formats", and where to get specs from.
	Something about dithering
	To and from RGB and other represtations of color
	How to convert 3 bytes of color to 1 byte (median cut).

Thoughts suggestions.
