Canada Lines: 30 Howdy Folks, I am soon to be converted to a c++ hacker and have a few questions about using the SUN windowing environment from c++. Remember, I am a C programmer, and know absolutely nuttin' about c++ as of this writing, so be gentle with your comments. The main question is: Are there any problem with including the sunview header files and using the interface? I have a large project that I am going to be tackling soon, and am curious to know of experiences out there in net.land. The Environment I will be using is g++ ( I beleive ) on SUN-3's under OS 4.0.1 or so. The project is a translation of C -> C++, and has a hefty SunView interface that has already been designed, so I do not have much of a choice here. Thanks for your help folks. Pleas reply by email and I will post if people express an interest or I get a large number of replies. -- Brian Corrie, University of Victoria, Victoria, B.C., Canada bcorrie%uvicctr.UVic.ca@ubc-relay.ca Under the most rigourously controlled conditions of pressure, temperature, volume, humidity and other variables, the organism will do as it damn well pleases. Sounds like some of the code I have written!!!!! 8^) Don't worry, I know nothing of what I babble about.......
