Message-ID: <782@umb.umb.edu> Date: 22 Apr 89 15:22:04 GMT Organization: UMASS-Boston, Boston, MA Lines: 21 Does anyone know of a place that will print PostScript documents on a typesetter? We are looking at a 250 (or so) page book done with TeX. I could find no ads for such a place in TUGboat, although I suppose the places have no real reason to advertise there. The reason for going with PostScript (many places can print DVI files on a typesetter) is the fonts -- I noticed Adobe has released free copies of the LaserWriter+ (at least) fonts for screens, at least they are on sumex.stanford.edu in Mac format. Hence my second question -- does anyone know of a program running on Unix that reads Mac fonts and turns them into GF/PK/PXL files (anything that reads Mac fonts would be a help). Thanks. Please respond via mail; I'll summarize if necessary. Karl karl@umb.edu ...!harvard!umb!karl
