You want PC-Scheme from Texas Instruments. Retail from TI in Dallas is about $95, and there are substantial educational discounts. TI's implementation is very fast, has gobs of good features (including understanding '87 chips, expanded and extended memory, etc.), suffers only a handful of bugs, and is wonderfully documented. Unless you're _really_ short on cash, it's not worth messing with anything else. Good luck. -- "Simulate it in ROSS" Brian Leverich | U.S. Snail: 1700 Main St. ARPAnet: leverich@rand-unix | Santa Monica, CA 90406 UUCP/usenet: decvax!randvax!leverich | Ma Bell: (213) 393-0411 X7769
