R & D, Schenectady,NY Lines: 18 I have an interesting problem with HDB uucp and Xenix/386. I am using a shared MultiTech 224E modem, with a definition mtech as ACU in Devices, with "mtech" and "&mtech" scripts in Dialers. The dial script works fine, but the reset script seems not to be executed (not that it doesn't work, but it doesn't seem to execute). I and running the same software at home, and it works fine. I don't see anything useful in the manual which claims the &xxxx script will be executed. I did a dialout at 300 baud, and I can clearly see that the modem is not getting all the stuff I have in the script. Any suggestions would be welcome, since I don't see any difference in the way I have the two systems setup. -- bill davidsen (wedu@crd.GE.COM) {uunet | philabs}!steinmetz!crdos1!davidsen "Stupidity, like virtue, is its own reward" -me
