We, (one of) the Operations Support groups at Unisys, are in the process of
implementing a charge back scheme for the Sun workstations that several of our
projects are using.  However, we (=i) don't have much experience at the kinds
of rates to charge for the following resources:

	cpu time	cpu seconds

	connect time	connect hours

	disk space	Megabyte-days


Does anyone out there have any suggestions and/or numbers that they use for any
charge back scheme that they currently implement or have implement?  VERY ROUGH
guestimates of rates that we have looked at so far:

	$0.0015 .. $0.0070	per cpu second

	$0.90   .. $0.015	per connect hour

	$0.14	.. $0.28	per Mb-day

What are the typical utilizations that you have experienced on your projects for
these resources?

Obviously, the rates depend on the stated/assumed goal of recovery.  We wish to
break even.
