Sorry, couldn't get mail through.

The Revox CD players all have a modular assembly which includes the
capability of direct control over an RS-232-C link.  You need to purchase
an external Revox box to actually sit between the computer and the CD
player, but this is a bonus, because the external box handles several
devices.

The CD player link includes access to all the diagnostic information, and
all the control signals.  A very nice job.

Contact your local Revox dealer for details.  There is a real chance your
local dealer won't have a clue what you are talking about (it's not in the
standard literature here in Canada), in which case insist on details of the
national dealer, and contact them.  I am not posting details of model
numbers and such here because my own equipment is several years old, and I
have no idea what is currently available.

This stuff is not cheap.  A year ago the Canadian prices were $1,800 for
the CD player and $750 for the external interface box.  However, Revox
equipment is built to an extraordinarily high standard, has great specs,
and they provide first class support.

I speak only as a happy Revox user of long standing ( > 20 years) in
private life.
