I have read horror stories about Prentice-Hall and relucantly I called
to order the COMPLETE version of MINIX 1.3 about 1 week ago.  It arrived
last night UPS.  I open the box to find nine MINIX 1.2 diskettes.  I 
called them today and got tossed to about 3 departments before I got the
anwser of "MINIX 1.3 does not yet exist as a COMPLETE package, and will
not for another 2-3 weeks!!!!"
    I found this to be quite different from what the ordering department
originally told me.  They explained that I could keep the disk and they
would send me the available MINIX 1.3 upgrade kit for $30 extra.  I think
they got the idea I was thrilled in buying and old version plus the cost
of upgrading within the first week of owning it!  I guess in the mean time
I will just sit here and twiddle my thumbs waiting for the month (oops I 
mean "day") the correct disk make it way to my home.
