Note about the French translation of Minix book:
The version listed is PC Minix 1.2. I bought that book 4 weeks ago. It
is written in the book in the chapter considering modifying Minix that
the boot prompt is 'Minix 1.2 booting'
I bought that book having a ST , I typed the code and I am currently
trying to modify it in a way which could enable Minix to deal with the
French keyboard which is different to the U.S. one. Of course I rewrite
the asm routines.
For people using PCs (and maybe STs) with a French keyboard there is an address
giving the name of the French Minix users association in the book.
