Message-ID: <5650009@wdl1.UUCP> Date: 19 Apr 89 18:43:11 GMT References: <3713@mit-amt> Lines: 21 I have a BMS200 which I am using with the the original ADAPTEC controller distributed by BMS controlling 2 drives of different sizes and speeds. I put it all together in an XT style case with a 150 Watt power supply. It all came together quiet easily and works marvellously well both under TOS and MINIX. (60 MB total is almost enough.) I haven't tried the ``supra speed tests'' yet since backing up all that without a tape is a real pain and takes a lot of disks. (I do have backups but they are of the incremental sort so if disaster strikes, it will take me some time to recover - word to the wise.) I have no experience with other approaches so I can't tell you how this approach compares with them. I would have mailed this to you directly but our notes program did not leave enough of an address to do so.
