We swapped out everything at least once. ie: CPU, Ethernet chip, cable, transceiver, fanout box. The SUN techs checked everything and all was fine? But we still had "ie0: spurious interrupts". The solution was the installation of software patch 3.5.1. It comes on a 1/4" tape and you can selectivly install different patches. I choose to install all. The interrupts dissapeared no trace. The problem as it was explained to was that the 3/260 ethernet can't handle heavy network loads without this patch. good luck, * Craig M.
