I can not make it to work. Any help will be much appreciated. The hardwares are: Zenith data system 286 machine running MS-DOS 3.30 with Hayes Smart Modem 1200. To load the packet driver, I used: slip8250 0x60 slip 2 0x2f8 1200 where I used com2 for modem. To configure telnet for slip, I editted config.tel files with the following parameters: hardware=packet interrupt=2 address=6 ioaddr=0x60 Here are the error message from telnet program: packet driver return error on driver_info call could not initialize hardware level network driver error initializing network or getting configuration file. Thank you in advance for any help you may have. Please send reply to: USENET: uw-beaver!uw-nsr!joseph Internet: joseph@nsr.bioeng.washington.edu joseph@blakke.acs.washington.edu
