Unfortunatley, it doesn't come with documentation or with source code. It was reasonably easy to figure out how to unshar (which is what I wanted to do). The program does provide a (very brief) summary of its arguments if you don't give it any arguments, so it may be possible to figure out how to shar from that information. I don't know how much interest there is in such a program. I'd be willing to email it (arc-ed and uuencoded) to anyone who wants it.
