It works fine Hmm, the HP DeskJet *should* work just fine. I know it did when I had it. I wouldn't use it in Epson compatible mode; you are throwing away all the nice features of the printer thereby. The RAM cartridge has *nothing* to do with graphics; it is only for downloading fonts. It looks like the DeskJet and the DJ+ are taking over the slot once reserved by 24-pin printers. -tom
