OutRun pushes one or two 16Mhz 68000s and special blitter chips to their max, not to mention doesn't have to run a multitasking operating system. No machine running one 8Mhz 68000, with a simple blitter and a multitasking operating system is going to be able to match the arcade version, not even the Amiga. -Steve Bollinger
