I have a friend who hasn't upgraded his A500 to Workbench 1.3 (or kickstart
1.3).  He (and I) want to know if it is kosher (in a legal sense, NOT a
"will it work" sense) to use ARP 1.3 without getting Workbench 1.3.  We wonder
because with ARP, you essentially get the 1.3 commands for free.  I of course
realize that be using ARP alone instead of with the upgrade you don't have nice
things like new printer drivers, etc., etc. as they come with the Workbench 1.3
upgrade.

Just wondering.
