These critters would be real useful with the number of hardrives increasing. I use both Intuition and the CLI alot and find I end up duplicating a lot of binaries. I put most programs that I run from the CLI(csh actually) in work:c and some in work:bin. However when I use intuition I like to see things organized differently. I suppose I could make my path look everywhere I have binary files, but it's bothersome to update and I presume would slow down program invokation. 2] Also I was wondering if it would be possible to execute a CLI script automatically when one changes into new directory. Say if a directory contains a file called dir.setup, then if one cd'ed into that directory then the script would be run automatically. This would make it very easy to setup custom environments etc. This script could also be run from intuition when a drawer is opened. -- -- George MacDonald zinn!myhut!gmd
